The Trendsetters Board is a year long commitment involving various aspects of the retailing and modeling industries. The board meets the second Saturday of every month. The program promotes social growth and builds on communication, interpersonal and team building skills. Become more aware of community needs, understand the business behind the retail industry and organizational culture and find the fashionista within!

| Education & Career Development - Teen members are given the opportunity to build their resume and participate in presentations and activities dealing with the various aspects of the retail industry - modeling, retail operations, sales, fashion design, marketing and public relations. |

Focus Groups - Be part of the research behind the ever changing retail industry. Focus groups involve test concepts, brand associations, screening alternatives and provide quantitative market research. Voice your opinions about up and coming products and advertising plans. |

Promotional Modeling - Generate excitement as a Trendsetter model for the Mall's Back-to-School Fashion Show and Spring & Prom Fashion Show. Represent your favorite stores' style and brand down the runway and discover the behind the scenes action of a Mall fashion show. Smaller retail modeling opportunities are also available, such as mannequin modeling and Trend Report media segments on KDKA-TV's Pittsburgh Today Live. |
| Community Service - Do your part and help give back to the community. Fulfill your community service requirements by volunteering to help non-profit organizations raise funds and promote their services to the community. |
